Happy New Year to you all! We hope you all enjoyed the festive break and were able to relax your way into 2018. GlobeUs have started the year off with a bang as always so read on to hear all of our most recent news.
Personal Licence continues nationwide, and we delivered our first in Leeds yesterday; we have also added Sheffield as a brand new city for March, and will be coming back to Weymouth soon. We are also planning a few additional cities towards the East of England, so if you have any suggestions please feel free to contact us!
Excitingly, we have been awarded Approved Centre status from BIIAB which will allow us lots more flexibility for delivery and options to candidates; BIIAB is prestigious within the Hospitality and Training industries, so we are delighted to be working with them. We will be continuing to work with Highfield ABC too!
Our Premises Licence Application Service launched a few weeks ago, but we have recently reduced the price to try and make it more affordable for businesses large and small. Our new price is £550+VAT and more information can be found on the website just here.
Over in Apprenticeships, we are starting to make plans for National Apprenticeships Week 2018, which is from the 5th to the 9th March 2018. Keep watching our Social Media pages for further updates!
We have recently joined forces with OneFile and will be launching our e-Portfolios in February for Apprentices. We are really excited for the transition as the benefits e-Portfolios have will add so much value to our courses!
CACHE have approved GlobeUs for delivery of Level 5 Childcare Apprenticeships, which is big news for us! The foundation degree level Apprenticeship is ideal for anyone in a management type role within a Childcare setting. We are looking to launch this in February so watch this space for more news!
Paediatric First Aid continues to be a popular course and we are now holding weekend courses every other month to meet demand. The courses are held over 2 Saturdays to fulfil the 12-hour training requirement, and at the moment we are based at Portchester Community Centre to be central within the region for candidates. If you have anyone that needs to attend please do get in touch with us to book them on to the next available date.
Finally, one last bit of good news for us so far this month – we have been nominated for a couple of awards! The annual Portsmouth Business Excellence Awards are being held in February, and we have been nominated for Business of the Year and Customer Service Provider of the Year. The event is a black tie dinner, we are very excited to meet all the other nominees. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for us!
