Today is “Fat Thursday” across Europe, and is particularly celebrated in Poland, Germany, Italy, and Greece! The day is celebrated to mark the last Thursday before Lent begins next week, and is similar to the UK tradition of Pancake Day, or Shrove Tuesday.
In Poland, doughnuts are traditionally eaten in large quantities, so we hope you all will have a chance to enjoy some!
