Last night we delivered our second Babies and Children First Aid course at Portchester Community Centre, to a group of 8 parents. The course covered a range of topics, including practicing CPR skills, building confidence in dealing with an emergency situation, and educating about common illnesses such as asthma and febrile convulsions. We saw this week on Eastenders a character needing to perform basic life support on her infant son, and with this in mind it really reiterated to us the importance and value of this type of training. We thoroughly enjoy passing on knowledge and confidence through quality training and so we very much hope our group last night enjoyed the course as much as we did!
