November is whizzing past us at an alarming rate, and December is on the horizon. December brings with it many festivities: Christmas, Hanukkah, Yule and many more – which you can read all about in our upcoming E+D Newsletter to be published in a few days’ time. Watch this space!

GlobeUs has had another busy month, expanding both Apprenticeships and Personal Licence. Over in Personal Licence, we have launched our Premises Licence service, offering 2 levels of support: a consultancy service to help guide you through submitting your application to the council directly, and a full application service for us to complete this on your behalf. We have also successfully delivered our first couple of Personal Alcohol Licence Courses in Manchester and Birmingham and have launched Leeds as a brand new location! January and February 2018 dates have been published on the website for all locations so start booking now while places last. APLH courses are very busy this time of year, and we are already excited to see what the new year brings.

In Apprenticeships, we are currently recruiting for an additional Childcare Trainer Assessor to join our ever-growing team; with 2017 ending on a high, we have an eye looking forward to the future and decided now is an ideal opportunity to welcome a new colleague on board. Fancy applying? Contact us below and send us across a CV, or find us on Indeed. Watch our social media pages too for further vacancies in the future.

We had a record number of learners achieve their Functional Skills and NVQ certificates this month, and we want to take the opportunity to again congratulate everyone on all of their achievements. Below are just a few snaps of happy candidates; check out Facebook and Twitter for more!

GlobeUs attended the Southampton Business Show at the Ageas Bowl earlier this month, meeting individuals a wide variety of different companies. The event is always extremely popular and very professionally run, and despite it being absolutely freezing outside on the day it was very well attended. We were delighted to meet old faces as well as new, and can’t wait to come again next year!

Portchester Community Centre hosted a jam packed Paediatric First Aid course for us in November too; we thoroughly enjoyed delivering the training to so many new faces and may be making this a regular session in 2018.

Finally, our lovely Director of Quality Aneta Orlowska celebrated her birthday this month – from all of us at GlobeUs, we wish you a huge happy birthday!

That’s all for this month – see you just before Christmas!
